tree-lined streets

Two U.S. cities really impress me with their tree-lined streets: New Orleans and Sacramento. Not just any trees, but BIG trees. I don't know how they do it. No talk of roots getting into pipes, or of limbs falling, or of fire danger prompting insurance companies to require pruning. In a world increasingly unkind to trees because they interfere with human "infrastructure", New Orleans and Sacramento are exceptional.
