Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne

One of the great things about British culture is that every major city under the crown has a top-notch, government-operated botanic garden that is free and open to the public. The Royal Botanic Gardens is a public resource much the way that the public library system is. We started our visit to the 94 acre park with lunch at Jardin Tan, a Vietnamese restaurant conveniently located at the entrance.
