The Briars is a nice big regional park on the Mornington Peninsula. We were hoping to make a stop at either the cafe or the restaurant, but both were closed for private functions. While hiking we encountered what was said to be a tawny frogmouth, a bird that resembles an owl but is not. Again it was difficult to get a better photo than the blurry mess below.
