S.C. Island overnight, part 2

As with my previous visit to Santa Cruz Island in April 2019, I was struck by all the flowers and the loveliness and if anything the green grass was even greener. On the flip side I noticed a lot more invasive flowers such as mustard, so much so that the areas around Scorpion Anchorage didn't seem as pristine this time. It's hard to say if the problem has in fact gotten worse or if it's just a perception based on how impressed I was on my previous visit, which contrasted starkly with my first visit in late summer 2008 wherein everything was brown and dry.

  1. I know it isn’t good for the environment, but the mustard sure is pretty.
