Hacienda Del Sol has two restaurants and most of our meals were taken at Terraza Garden Patio & Lounge, the more casual of the two. This is where we had a late lunch and coffee upon our arrival. The service was excellent. Our salmon salad was good, but perhaps had too much fruit (see strawberries and dragon fruit below). I was thankful that they served coffee and their desserts were out of this world - maybe from Mars? By which I mean disarmingly exotic. Above, their carrot cake. Good, but disarmingly exotic.
Yes, the salmon was mixed with a salad that featured fruit- but, we chose that salad. Not a good pairing. But, our fault. It would have paired better with a Caesar.
