Dali 17

Sometimes the maritime museum in Monterey turns into a Salvador Dali museum ("Dali 17") when a local art collector decides to take a mountain of the late surrealist's work public, much of it for the first time. Such a museum is not as incongruous as it first seems when you learn that the Dali's spent the World War Two years living in the area. I like maritime museums but I also like surrealism so I don't mind the change of orientation.
