I have nothing but good things to say about the Hotel Ambrose, where we stayed while in Montreal for four nights. I would describe it as a reasonably-priced boutique hotel with a touch of international youth hostel. The breakfast and coffee are also quite good.
Loved it! Although, a little concerned about the possibly rotten bathroom floorboard underneath present floor.
