It must be admitted that, in addition to gorgeous carpets of pink ice plant, this area features gorgeous carpets of churning sea foam... in technicolor. This may also be the place where we first noticed sea otters frolicking in the turbulent surf. Heck, there may even be some in these photos looking like rocks.
They’re there even if we can’t see them.
