After the kayaking adventure I embarked on a hiking adventure - the trails I saw from the kayak. In addition to being an interesting hike, it gave my pants - soaking wet from the kayak - a chance to dry out. I had heard about the bald eagles years ago so it was good to finally learn the whereabouts of one of their nesting sites.
It was overdue.
