Sometimes the supermarket you set foot in back in 1991 has turned into a Trader Joe's in 2024. A bit of research reveals that Durst's Thriftway at 2122 N. Glisan Street reopened as a Trader Joe's in 2001. For fun I tried to locate the exact point in the store where Mrs. famously reached for a jar of lemon curd. I am 99% sure this is it.
