Portland Central P.O.

For a town with its share of architectural gems, Portland's post offices are sorely lacking in charm. When we tried to track down the Central P.O. at the end of the North Park Blocks, this is what we found. A bit of research reveals that the building in our memory - a fairly bland concrete and glass structure - was torn down in 2023. Apparently there is some major redevelopment in the works.
