Vancouver, WA crossing

 

You know you're getting close to Portland when the train enters Vancouver, WA and you see the Oregon-Washington Interstate Bridge. After stopping in Vancouver the train crosses the Columbia River and Hayden Island on its own bridge - the Burlington Northern Railroad Bridge - from which the Interstate Bridge and the Portland skyline are visible.
