What is Elk City, Oklahoma's claim to fame? First and foremost: the largest Route 66 sign in the world. That is appropriate since they are also home to the National Route 66 Museum. Actually, it's a whole museum complex. Needless to say, this is all located on Old Route 66.
This place needs more play.
