Like Santa Fe, Taos has a central square as well as a matrix of small streets and pedestrian areas full of art galleries, coffee houses and souvenir shops. We strolled around for a bit in the crisp autumn air. Apparently I was more enchanted than Kate.
There were many factors at hand.
