Right in the heart of Beaumont, TX, surrounded by freeways, sprawl and the petrochemical industry, is the beautiful Oaks Historic District. This well-preserved "time bubble" protects both historic homes and magnificent oak trees alike. I should know because my brother lives there.
It was a lovely walk in this historic district.
