The grand finale of Biscuit Basin was Sapphire Pool, a gorgeous cauldron of deep blue. It produced so much steam that standing near it was like a sauna bath. The abundant steam also made photographing it a challenge so I consider these pictures a real accomplishment!
It definitely is an accomplishment. And the warmth of the steam was a delight on that very chilly morning.
