This beautiful historic building in West Yellowstone just happened to be behind our hotel. It's actually part of a larger historic district that includes other railroad structures. This particular building was designed in 1925 by Gilbert Stanley Underwood, an architect known for many railroad depots and national park lodges - including Old Faithful Lodge. In any case it looked great in the falling snow.
It was LOVELY.
