Heading north on I-15 we discovered a totally different entrance to Zion National Park than the ones we were familiar with. This northwestern piece of the park is known as Kolob Canyons and the iconic spires seen here are known as the Kolob Fingers. A worthwhile side trip since we already had a National Parks pass.
That was such a wonderful and unexpected addition to the trip.
