Between Fredericksburg and Van Horn, TX this terrible thing happened - through no fault of our own. A vehicle passed us on Interstate 10, and this resulted. Getting the problem "wrapped" in Van Horn was an ordeal. As a result, there are no "fun" photos from this segment of the trip. I'm thankful though since it could have been worse and the mechanic - normally unavailable on a Sunday - went above and beyond to help us.
We were soooooo lucky in numerous ways.
