Curious about other parts of Las Cruces, we delved a little deeper. Beyond a semi-forgotten downtown was this colorful visitors center. Beyond that was some run-down looking sprawl, which was our initial impression of the city pre-Mesilla and the university area.
That was a lovely mural.
