This concrete structure across from the entrance of Red Bud Isle Park had something to do with the construction of the Tom Miller Dam - the dam that created Lake Austin. No one ever told us about Emmett Shelton or Tom Miller before, but it was good for our Austin education.
Well, I’d already forgotten all of that so it’s a good thing you just reminded me.
