What was a bit weird was that the entire Mojave Desert from Yuma to Palm Springs was overcast, and just as we arrived in Palm Springs, it started to pour rain. Not that this never happens, but the odds of it happening during a historic drought are pretty slim.
And not that anyone would not WANT rain in an area that has been experiencing drought for many years, but...
