I had previously been to Nashville and Memphis, but this was the first time I ever set foot in Knoxville, TN. I must say it had a pleasant and very walkable downtown - especially the Market Square area (seen below, set up for Christmas). The structure above, known as the Sunsphere, is a remnant of the 1982 World's Fair.
