One of the first things we saw in Big Bend National Park was the newly-built Fossil Discovery Exhibit, so new that it hadn't yet had its grand opening. I must say that the architecture and the exhibit itself were of the highest quality, and the surreal desert setting almost felt like the set of a science fiction movie or a journey back to the dinosaur era or both, in a good way.
It's a bit of journey, but this place would be a great destination for a class field trip!
