After crossing into the "Land of Enchantment" we decided to, rather than stay in big Las Cruces, spend the night in little Deming, NM - on the premise that it might be more enchanting. The jury is still out on whether that was the case or not. We did however visit the very enchanting Rockhound State Park the following morning. It is one of the few parks in the country that allows the collection of rocks and minerals. Despite that we took only pictures and memories.
