Bisbee Mining and Historical Museum


We didn't tour the Bisbee Mining and Historical Museum, but the Smithsonian affiliate is certainly a landmark. The 1895 building was formerly the offices of Phelps Dodge, the company that operated the mines.

    If there had not been a tour beginning, perhaps the bathroom pit stop may have worked out and we could have had a taste of the building.
