Bisbee's Copper Queen Hotel was opened in 1902 by the Phelps Dodge Corporation to lodge dignitaries visiting the booming mining town. At a glance it looks elegant and reminded me of something one might see in Switzerland. Up close it has rough edges like so much of the town. I wasn't at all surprised to hear that it is allegedly haunted.
Lol. At first glance I thought you said “degenerates”, not dignitaries. I guess there was a time between when it was originally built and now where that may have been accurate.
