The sprawling Gallery in the Sun featured decades of DeGrazia's paintings and was in itself an interesting building. The floor above was made partly of cholla cactus, using methods that Native tribes had mastered in handling this spiky plant. The pieces of cholla were then sanded and sealed with wax.
It was such an experience to go here. The building and its details were as great as the paintings.
