The Gallery building formed a courtyard in which was a lovely garden that captured the spirit of the wild desert terrain and the early human interactions with it. DeGrazia felt a strong connection with the Native and Spanish periods of Arizona history.
There was probably even more in the courtyard garden than we saw.
