This white bird is stunning, whatever it signifies. At the other end of the plaza is what may have been a train depot, or the offices of a local railroad (note the choo choo train motif). Whatever the case, for a tiny town this is an impressively grand plaza.
I wonder about the significance of the bird and also the materials of which it is made.
