Anna's Hummingbird?

I've never been crystal clear on the different species of hummingbirds, but when I saw this one while walking down to the beach in Pacific Grove and noticed that its ruby-colored throat magically appeared only at certain angles, it seemed quite possible that this was an Anna's Hummingbird. Sorry, no photos of the ruby-colored throat.
