This relatively new La Quinta in Holbrook, AZ stands like a monolith on the edge of town. Adding further interest to its boldly designed facade, I noticed a team of swallows busy at work building mud nests in the recessed underhang. This is what swallows do. Build it and they will come.
It is fine accommodations for swallows and humans.
