The North Kaibab Trail was closed due to a pipe break that took out the North Rim's plumbing. A volunteer in the parking area advised us to take the Ken Patrick Trail instead. Since there was a period in my life when I did a lot of hiking with friends named Ken and Patrick, I couldn't help from being amused by this.
