This was another memory from our first visit to Port Aransas - the pier and the wide, flat beach that cars and trucks could drive on. At a glance it also looks like giant cargo ships are permitted on the beach. Actually the mouth of the harbor is just beyond the jetty.
It’s an interesting beach. Fond memories.
