In an area called Cannonborough/Elliotborough we had a glimpse of the Coming Street Cemetery, the oldest Jewish cemetery in the Southern U.S. - dating back to 1762. This was the northernmost section of Charleston that we explored on foot, and as I recall it was quite warm for October 31.
Wish that we could have accessed the interior, where supposedly some of my father’s ancestors are buried.
