We traveled west across Georgia on a series of rural routes. Once we got past an enormous military base (Fort Stewart), we found ourselves sailing through a cotton belt that went on and and on and on. In the middle of all this we spent the night at a La Quinta in Tifton, GA.
Those rural Georgia roads that went on and on and on just about did me in. The cotton was fairly interesting though.
