The American turned out to be a good choice for a memorable lunch in Bainbridge, GA. As far as I was concerned, they presented me with the best cornbread in the cotton belt (and possibly the best of my life). Cornbread would be one of the areas where me and the South overlap; another one would be a refusal to be in a hurry.
Sadly, said cornbread was not gluten free. It sure looked good.
