Coming from the north, El Pescador is the first of the three units you reach of the Robert Meyer Memorial State Beach. It's also a turn so blind that it's nearly impossible not to miss it - as we did on our first attempt. This time, with proper training and preparation, we heroically paid our first visit. Like it's neighboring unit, La Piedra, the beach was enclosed and sparsely populated.
A little less tricky to get down to beach and back up to parking lot at El Pescador than at La Piedra.
