Having taken our fill of The Battery we turned around and headed north. Not sure if this is new or not, but the Hudson River Park has a long promenade that runs along the river with cafés and functioning restrooms. It's a bit grittier and more crowded than Battery Park, but still pleasant for walking. Seen below is some sort of ventilation system for the Holland Tunnel.
I’m all for parks with promenades that have cafés and functioning restrooms.
