Old Bethpage Village Restoration

I was hoping to revisit Old Bethpage Village Restoration, where we had been many times as children. I remember it as a lively assembly of historic Long Island buildings, barns, blacksmith shops, etc. That was decades ago when the world was younger and more hopeful. In the meantime it had fermented into something resembling a fond memory. As luck would have it, it was closed, so I went to nearby Bethpage State Park instead.
