For a mere four dollars I got the upper deck of the ferry all to myself and a panorama of one of the great rivers of the world - the lower Hudson - along with the Manhattan and New Jersey skylines. It was sunny and a bit brisk which made for an exhilarating, invigorating experience, well worth more than four dollars!
