Just like our first visit to Land of Medicine Buddha, we hiked the 8 Verses Pilgrimage Trail. Being springtime there were all manner of flowers on display, including shootingstars (Dodecatheon meadia, above) and buttonbush (Cephalanthus occidentalis, below). Also plenty of poison oak. It was a great little hike, and the 8 Verses are worth remembering.
I should check out my photos of the 8 verses every now and again. They ARE worth remembering.
