Tidal Coffee

We stopped into Tidal Coffee, part of the Monterey Plaza Hotel, and who did we run into but Mr. Steinbeck. The man is everywhere in these parts. As the saying goes, if he didn't own the cottage you're staying in, he's staring down your coffee cup.
