The overlooked, historic, 1874-built Miller Adobe at 580 Calle Principal is not part of the Monterey State Historic Park, but rather privately owned. It seems to have been converted into offices and apparently is for sale for $895,000. It's also located near the Monterey Museum of Art. The sight of it certainly reinforced my impression of Monterey as a west coast Colonial Williamsburg.
Good price. But it would be strange to have a bedroom in an office space.
