The good thing about being deposited in Auke Bay rather than Juneau is that it's much closer to Mendenhall Glacier - something I definitely wanted to see. Cities I've seen lots of, but glaciers not nearly as many. We were lucky to get a cab to drive us there - cab drivers in Juneau are apparently scarce.
Especially scarce when there is a huge festival downtown.
