While I wasn't a fan of the rope outside our cabin's window, it didn't make me crazy. Mrs. on the other hand - it made her crazy. (In these photos it sort of contributes to the overall composition, in my humble opinion).
When seated on my bed it blocked crucial scenery and it also moved up and down, which added greatly to the problem. It was very distracting and I would have loved the opportunity to get rid of that rope!
