While wandering around Asilomar Beach looking for tide pools, we stumbled upon these huge piles of muscles shells. Don't know what the story is but we do know that we heard the strangest cracking and popping sounds, sounds that can only be compared to a bowl of Rice Crispies with milk. So there you have it.
It was quite bizarre.
